Rangers are outdoorsy character who is more at home in the wilderness than in the dungeon or the city. They are rugged and self-sufficient individualist that are masters of ranged weapons.
The ranger’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Climb (Str), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Handle Animal (Cha), Heal (Wis), Hide (Dex), Jump (Str), Knowledge (dungeoneering) (Int), Knowledge (geography) (Int), Knowledge (nature) (Int), Listen (Wis), Move Silently (Dex), Profession (Wis), Ride (Dex), Search (Int), Spot (Wis), Survival (Wis), Swim (Str), and Use Rope (Dex).

Weapon and Armor Proficiency
Rangers are proficient in one ranged hunting weapon – either a crossbow, short bow, long bow, or spear. They gain proficiency in their choice of light or medium armor.

A ranger gains Track as a bonus feat. A ranger may move through any sort of undergrowth (such as natural thorns, briars, overgrown areas, and similar terrain) at his normal speed and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment. A ranger can move at his normal speed while following tracks without taking the normal -5 penalty. He takes only a -10 penalty (instead of the normal -20) when moving at up to twice normal speed while tracking.
Animals do not consider the ranger hostile unless the ranger takes a hostile action toward the animal.
The ranger gains a small, medium or large animal that becomes their animal companion. This animal is a loyal companion that accompanies the ranger on her adventures as appropriate for its kind. The animal companion starts with 8 hp, and 2 level points each time the player gains a level in ranger. This applies retro actively and represents the training the ranger has invested into the animal.
A ranger can use the Hide skill in any sort of natural terrain, even if the terrain doesn’t grant cover or concealment.
Point Blank Shot
You get a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls with ranged weapons at ranges of up to 30 feet.
Improve Animal Companion
A rangers animal companion improves over time. The rangers animal companion gains a bonus to attack, damage or AC equal to the rangers Improve animal companion level. In addition the animal companion gains a combat feat of the rangers choosing. The animal companion must qualify for the feat.
If a ranger can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage. This can be done either by attacking when the target is unaware of the rangers location, if the ranger is attacking from the target from the rear or if the target is currently being attacked by the rangers animal companion.
The ranger does an additional 1 points of damage for each level of sneak attack. The ranger can only sneak attack with ranged weapons.
Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet.
Rangers gain a bonus to hit for every level of Accuracy
Each level of deadly range increase the distance the ranger can use sneak attack by 10 ft.
When you use a projectile weapon, such as a bow, its range increment increases by one-half (multiply by 1.5).
You can get one extra attack per round with a ranged weapon.
A ranger can make a number of additional ranged attacks equal to their BAB.
A ranger my fire a ranged weapon at any target within line of sight, with no penalty for range.
